Letters, Sentences and Maxims
An undated (perhaps from the 1930s?) edition of Lord Chesterfield's educational letters to his son- a classic of British upper-crust etiquette, often remembered for his advice that a gentleman never laughs, and for the fact that his son ended up in Paris with a French family- and that the father ended up enjoying his son's unconventional family. Dust jacket missing some chips here and there.
