Sheila Hicks : Weaving as Metaphor

Bard Graduate Center, 2006. Thick tome on her strikingly beautiful weaving designs. Original edition designed by Irma Boom,  bound in white embossed boards, and printed on thick paper with rough edges, making the book a pleasing, substantial object. A very nice copy with minor flaws: a little light edgewear, some slight grubbiness to the white near bottom edge. Top edge of pages, which have a sort of goffered effect, a trifle dulled.
