The Beach Book by Gloria Steinem

New York: Viking Press, 1963. Anthology to take to the beach, devoted to beach life and literature in hustory and art.  Steinem's first book, which is a lot of fun-- a large hardcover with a dust jacket that doubles as a mirrored tanning screen. Quite a nice copy. Jacket a little worn, as is often the case with this book, with some slight loss, a long closed tear (visible running from the right of the "T" in "The" down through the "E" in "Beach"), now protected in a specially fashioned plastic sleeve.
